Sunrise Beach Resort Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam

Our stay at the resort was quite the experience. While the pool area is a definite highlight—spacious and inviting—the rest of the hotel left a lot to be desired. The dining experience was disappointing, with slow service and subpar food quality. The staff appeared overwhelmed and at times unhelpful. Overall, our family enjoyed some aspects, but we wouldn’t say it was worth the price.

I recently stayed at Sunrise Beach Resort, and it truly felt like a hidden paradise away from the hustle and bustle of Dar. The location is stunning, right on a peaceful stretch of beach, and the views from my spot were incredible. The food at the restaurant was authentic and delicious, with an amazing variety of Indian dishes that exceeded my expectations. However, I did notice that the rooms could use a little upkeep, particularly for furniture and cleanliness. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with a few areas for improvement.
